What is Photos on Canvas Print Calculator?
Photos on Canvas Print Calculator© (PocPC) is a software that analyzes your image resolution and accordingly determines the maximum possible photo sizes for a quality canvas print. There is no need for you to process your photo using a photo edit, or a complicated photo editing program – our tool takes into consideration the raw data of your photo file, and manipulates it in accordance with our state of the art enlargement algorithm.
All you have to do is open your file in our calculator and discover its maximum possible printing size.
Once you get the results, all you have to do is go to www.magnipic.com, upload your photo to our website and order your print.
Please note – we use special algorithms in order to enable the enlargement to the best quality possible. Our calculations do not refer to other canvas printing website that might use other inferior enlargement algorithms or printing equipment.
Photos on Canvas Print Calculator© is not a complicated graphics editing tool that you must master in order to perform the calculations. It is a simple, easy to use tool that helps you analyze your photos prior to uploading them to our website.

The Photos on Canvas Print Calculator© does not take into consideration the technical elements of your photo such as focus, exposure, composition or any artistic elements. This tool is based on a mathematical analysis that prevents pixelization in printing. This tool is most accurate with unprocessed photos taken with digital cameras. If your photo was processed or composed using a graphical digital editing tool, we recommend you send us the photo for a deeper analysis at contact@magnipic.com

Using Photos on Canvas Print Calculator©
Genaral work flow:
- Use the "Analyze your Photo…" button to in order to choose the photo you wish to analyze.
- After opening the photo, you will see it presented the left side of the screen.
- On the right side of the screen you will find the raw data of your photo:

This field presents your digital photo file format. The Photo On Canvas Print Calculator tool supports the following formats:

Size
This field presents the volume of your digital photo file. A larger file size usually ensures a bigger high quality print size.
Location
This field represents the physical location of your digital photo file with its full path – whether it's located on your hard drive, digital camera or on any other storage device.
Dimensions
This field presents your digital photo pixel dimensions – width & height. A greater number of pixels usually a bigger high quality print size.
Aspect Ratio
This field presents the proportions between the width & height of your digital photo. A standard digital camera aspect ratio is usually 3:4. In traditional cameras the aspect ratio is usually 2:3.
Max. high quality print size
The number shown in this field represents the maximum high quality print size possible for your photo. The numbers shown refer to width X height accordingly. You can choose to see the results in centimeters or inches.
Above this size, your print will probably suffer from pixelization. The photo below demonstrates the problem:
The Graph
At the bottom left side of the screen, you will find a graph representing the expected quality of your photo for different sizes.
The scale mark changes dynamically for each photo in respect to its resolution.
All size range that falls within the green or blue spectrum are good for printing, and we can assure you 100% satisfaction with the results if you print using our www.magnipic.com online service. Size ranges that falls within the red spectrum are not recommended for printing since in spite of our advanced enlargement algorithms, the resulting print on canvas might turn out with pixelization.
In any case, if you use our online canvas printing service at www.magnipic.com, our experts analyze each picture prior to printing. In any case that we have doubts about the final result, we contact the customer prior to printing.
